This weekend we have a potent Scorpio full moon. In addition, Mercury in Gemini will face off to Saturn in Sagittarius.
A pair of oppositions adds weight to the see saw like energy of the full moon. This can feel like a ‘push me, pull me’ vibe, where you are not sure if you are coming or going. (Possibly both!)
Mercury has recently entered Gemini, where he will spend the next 10 weeks. This extended visit to Gemini is due to Mercury’s next retrograde, which runs from May 18 – June 11.
But back to Mercury/Saturn. This is about standards, truth and honesty. Mercury and Saturn meet across an air (Gemini) and fire sign (Leo), showing this to be about expressiveness. That is, to clarify your truth and then to say it, rather than hold it in.
This aspect may also highlight the need to review documents, double check facts or adopt a cautious attitude for any major decisions.
Mercury opposes Saturn at 3 – 4 degrees of Gemini and Sagittarius. If you have planets or angles at these degrees you will be especially sensitive to this aspect.
In contrast to the yang energy of the signs of Mercury and Saturn, the full moon highlights the watery depths of emotional Scorpio.
This can bring a revelation, or highlight buried treasure. Interestingly, themes around truth, trust and loyalty are repeated, making being honest especially important this weekend.
The Scorpio full moon highlights the axis of 13 – 14 degrees Taurus/Scorpio. If you have planets or angles at these degrees you will be especially sensitive to this full moon.
The nature of a duo of oppositions may mean life feels like a see saw now, where you flip between up and down, hot and cold or off an on.
Over to you. Are you noticing this back and forth energy of the oppositions? Do either of these aspects hit your chart directly?
