The Sun now makes its annual conjunction with Saturn, combining the energy of light, radiance and expression (SUN) with that of steadiness, reliability and endurance (SATURN). One higher expression of these planets is WISDOM.
This may be a turning point time (Monday/Tuesday), especially if you have planets that will be activated by the conjunction degree of 25’55 Scorpio.
(This would include planets or chart points like the Ascendant or MC at 24 – 26 degrees of any fixed sign – Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius**, but especially if your birthday is today or tomorrow*.)
The Sun and Saturn ask for focus on the present.
The bounds or rings of Saturn can help limit your awareness to a current event, rather than racing off on maybes or worries about what may be. The title of Ram Dass’ famous book ‘Be Here Now’ may be an appropriate Sun/Saturn motto.
Saturn can also help bring awareness to something that may not be working, or highlight a responsibility or role you have outgrown.
Your turning point may begin with a moment of being honest with yourself. In the coming days your actions – what you choose to commit to or withdraw from – may be inspired by a clarity or reality you connect with now.
The Sun wants to shine and if there is a desire in your heart to be more authentic, to say yes to a role or opportunity, or to make a commitment that better reflects your truth, it may be now, as the Sun and Saturn blend, that you connect with the strength you need to make such a choice.
Saturn stands in praise of the present. Choices can only be made based on what you know today, not what you think you might know tomorrow or next week.
As the cosmos invites you to ‘Be Here Now’, you are in a sense liberated from having to over plan or get ahead of yourself. Ask ‘Where am I now?’, ‘Where would I like to be?’ and ‘What can I do or change today to get there?’.
There is always fear. The power – otherwise known as free will – we each have gives you a choice. Will you let fear win and say no out of worry, or will you say yes anyway and let a little fear be a part of living, rather than a reason to sit on the sidelines.
