There’s a lot of chopping and changing planet wise this week, which can bring a shift, progress or invite reflection. I’ve touched on some the week’s key astro energies here – happy planning!
First off, the Moon. The Moon is waning, and moving through the disseminating and third quarter phases. This can highlight opportunities to teach or share knowledge, wisdom and experience, or help you make any essential course corrections to ensure authenticity is honoured.
The Moon moves through the signs of Aquarius, Pisces and Aries. This week starts with a logical and rational feel, moves into a more emotional and intuitive period, before adopting a feisty, impulsive energy heading into the weekend.
Major Moon moments include:
– Wednesday, Moon/Neptune – an escapist vibe can help you trust your feelings, or focus on faith. Day dreams abound and inspiration infuses life. Details may be hazy though.
– Friday/Saturday, Moon/Uranus/South Node – this unpredictable pairing can bring unexpected change or last minute developments. The influence of the South Node can lead to an ending, or some kind of release. Be true to your own desires. Less conformity, more uniqueness.
Mercury reverses back into Gemini, amping up the curious, flitty mental vibe. This transition occurs Tuesday, so the rest of the week may bring second chances, new discoveries or highlight where something has gone missing and needs following up. Mercury in Gemini offers a lighter more social feel.
The standout aspect of the week is a sextile between Venus and Jupiter, on Wednesday. This combines two of the more positive planets, the benefics, while they are both in happy places (one in exaltation, one in rulership). It highlights goodness, sweetness and positive potential.
Venus/Jupiter can be especially favourable for relationship or financial matters. This would be a lovely time for a romantic date, or to discuss a potentially lucrative deal. It can also be as simple as enjoying your favourite induglence, or adding a little pleasure and luxury to life. People and enjoyment matter more than ambition, achievement or responsibility.
Saturday June 21 – Solstice
This weekend brings one of two key turning points of the Sun. It can represent a change or catalyst, and may remind you that you have gone as far down a particular path as possible for now.
The Solstices are a way to mark time, so this weekend take time out to reflect on the past six months, since the December Solstice. Has life moved in the direction you expected, or have you gotten off track? What would you like for the next six months? It’s a poignant time for intention setting.
