I’ve written a few lengthier posts for the blog in the past few days so I am going to keep this one brief.
This week has a busy feel, with lots of fire and air action. Air fuels fire, so this week, ideas fuel action. The Sun is in Aquarius (air sign), and the Moon moves through a fire (Sagittarius) and an air sign (Aquarius). The Moon is waning, in preparation of next week’s New Moon, so channel your efforts into completion, closure or behind the scenes activities.
Other than the Moon in Capricorn for a couple of days (Thursday/Friday/Saturday depending on your timezone) there is not a lot of grounded energy this week.
The deluge that is Feb + Mar 2013 has begun though, with Mars and Mercury entering Pisces. With all three personal planets (Mercury, Venus and Mars) settling into new signs, there are changes, subtle shifts in direction and new desires emerging. Be alert to your own energy in response to shifts in circumstance. You may want more or less of what’s unfolding. Follow your bliss – not the expectations of others.
Here are the main aspects of the week ahead:
Wed/Thurs: Mercury + Mars + Neptune
This triple conjunction blends ideas, communication, effort, desire, creativity and intuition. It’s soft, soulful but also potentially powerful. Rest and following your feelings is key, lest you get swept into a fantasy.
Some will find this a dreamy or vague time, others will let go of resistance and surrender into new levels of true purpose. This will be most influential for you if you have planets around 1 – 4 degrees of Pisces, other mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius) or other water signs (Cancer, Scorpio).
Wed/Thurs: Venus + Uranus + Jupiter
This sextile/trine pattern is like a flashbang that bursts apart, revealing unexpected opportunities. It breaks open your heart and mind to see how quickly things can move when you’re in flow.
Dare yourself to follow your wild ideas and crazy dreams. Anything is possible. This will be most influential for you if you have planets around 5 – 6 degrees of Aquarius, Aries or Gemini, or other air + fire signs (Leo, Libra, Sagittarius).
Sat/Sun: Mercury + Mars + Jupiter
Mercury and Mars face off with Jupiter under the dark Moon this weekend. Jupiter always wants more and your plans may take on a larger than life quality then. The dark Moon provides some protection, like working intensely in secret, but the weekend comes with a caution to avoid taking on too much, or going over the top.
That said, if you have a massive deadline, a big effort this weekend can help clean the slate before the New Moon early next week. This is most influential for the mutable signs, especially those with planets or chart points around 6 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces.
