So I finally walked the streets in my new neighbourhood this morning.
We’ve been here for a little over a week. Each morning when I’ve woken up, I’ve thought about a walk but the boxes and general chaos of a just moved into home distracted me.
Until today. Today I took the time.
I left the house a bit frazzled and within moments of walking felt calm. The walk up the green tree lined street, past pretty gardens and under the early morning haze of the sun calmed me. I slowed my breathing, and my thinking.
This is the gift of Taurus Moon. To take the time. To go slow. To walk instead of run. To read and write instead of surf the web. To cook up a healthy meal rather than eat on the go.
