I spent yesterday’s Mars/Saturn conjunction out in the sun shine. The peak occurred in the afternoon here and it was a brilliantly bright – and warm – summer day. I took an hour away from the computer and soaked up those rays.
As I was doing so, I thought what a lovely antidote this is to the cold, wet and introspective energy of Mars and Saturn. That combination has things to offer for sure, but the collection of yin energy it created may be overwhelming for some.
If that’s you, add some heat, light or dryness aka yang into your life.
Heat comes from literally being warm, so either get out in the sunshine, turn up the heat (if it’s winter!), dress warmly or exercise.
Light – get outside! Turn your face to the warmth and life affirming energy of the sun. (Where possible, morning sun is best, but really any time of day will work!)
Dryness can be a few things – go easy on the alcohol and make sure you stay dry (especially if the weather is damp). You could also clean up a mess. (Weird tip – papers or things piled everywhere is ‘wet’/messy (like water!) while things that are straightened, organised or put away just so are ‘dry’ – there is space around them.)
So my Mars/Saturn remedy has been heat and sunshine.
What secret thing have you been doing to lift or lighten your mood?
