Action planet Mars ends his retrograde by Tuesday May 20. If you’ve been particularly tested, challenged or frustrated since early March (when the Mars retrograde started) you’ll find this a welcome change.
Personally, I am counting the hours! Mars retrogrades can highlight a period where a specific issue or topic is highlighted, in a way that asks you to make improvements, but oh-so-slowly.
Delays will start to resolve, and you may finally feel as though the wheels are turning again.
In Libra, Mars is ruled by Venus, and Venus will be back on home turf (aka in Taurus) between May 29 – June 23. This period is especially favourable, and can bring progress on stalled issues, pleasant encounters or a pleasing resolution to a recently challenging situation.
Mars in Libra indicates progress comes through partnership, and many of the lessons that have emerged in the past few months likely have to do with learning more about what it really means to work together, or as part of a team.
Mars in Libra is about compromise and putting collective progress ahead of personal ambition.
While Mars going direct is a good thing, the change in energy and flow is not immediate. Rather it’s a slow growing feeling, that improves as the days go by. The further away from May 19 we move, the more speed – and therefore potential – Mars has. Best of all is when Mars finally leaves his station degree (9 Libra) on June 2, and even better still when Mars moves out of shadow, at 27 Libra on July 20. Each of these dates represents a breakthrough, an increase in momentum and renewed confidence.
Each Mars retrograde highlights different issues for every sign. Here’s a brief run down of the different topics or areas of life highlighted by this Mars Retrograde in Libra for each sign.
If all you know is your star or sun sign, read that, but if you know your chart, it’s even better to read for your ascendant sign.
If your sign or ascendant is….. here is the area of life that may have been frustrating or delayed, and should now move forward (slowly). Love to hear your personal experiences below!
