Venus comes into her own in Libra, one of her home signs. This is the yang (air) side to Venus, which spotlights social connections and the power of discussion in relationships. Venus strong in Libra also provides a boost to your Venus ruled houses.
Since we all respond to the same cycles uniquely, first consider your own relationship to diplomacy and compromise. Are you already someone who over does this, and often find yourself coming last after catering to others needs? (This can be a concern for those with Cancer, Libra, Pisces planets.)
Or, are you someone who always puts yourself first and struggles to work with others/in a team? (Typically an issue for those with Aries, Leo, Scorpio planets.) Maybe you do both but only in specific circumstances.
Diplomacy counts and compromise is key to romance.
If you already overdo compromising and accommodating others, take care you don’t go into extremes as Venus energises Libra. Consider how you could create more balance and fairness so your needs get as much attention as others.
If you’re still trying to work out what compromising or working with others means, the next four weeks brings plenty of opportunities to step back and let someone else lead.
Essentially, with Venus in Libra, it’s about relationship needs rather than personal priorities.
Venus in Libra is ultimately a rediscovery of how to work with others, to create win/win scenarios. These work best when everyone expresses their needs, and compromise is offered by all. This doesn’t mean you get everything you want, rather you work with a partner, peers or family to come up with scenarios that are ideal for the relationship you share.
Venus Strong + You
Since Venus is strong – aka in rulership – in Libra, this provides a positive sweet boost to those houses/life areas ruled by Venus’ signs, Taurus and Libra. For instance, if you have a Taurus MC, Venus is thus your personal career planet. Given her strength whilst in Libra, this can provide opportunities or a sense of ease whilst Venus is in Libra.
