The Moon is in Aquarius this weekend, and busy making a number of aspects.
As an air sign, Aquarius highlights interactions with others. It’s absolutely a people person kind of sign!
To add extra emphasis to these themes of connection, the Moon will trine chatty Mercury in Gemini. This double air influence encourages all kinds of social connections, both online and in real life.
Any angle between the Moon and Mercury can help bring balance between creativity and logic, as if the left and right sides of your brain can now find common ground.
We experienced this airy social buzz strolling down Broadway this morning. We stopped every few minutes to talk with familiar faces, and catch up on people’s plans, both for the weekend and for the summer. We often do this walk at this time of year. On some Saturdays we chat to lots of friends, while on others we stroll along without seeing a single person we know. Today’s many short visits seemed to reflect this fun and lighthearted Moon/Mercury theme.
In addition to skipping along with Mercury, the Moon will also sextile Uranus in Aries (excitement, spontaneity) and then oppose Venus and Jupiter in Leo.
The opposition typically creates a see saw like vibe, where you might swing between different desires, or feel pulled in 
different directions.
For me personally, the Aquarius Moon is in my 12th House, so on one hand I want to escape and do not much at all. But, Venus and Jupiter in Leo, my 6th House, highlight the need for some work or attending to errands and duties (mostly in the garden!). So far, I’ve been able to do a little of both, which is the ideal manifestation of an opposition – a little of this and then a little of that.

Watching over all this cosmic interaction is a sweet sextile between Mercury in Gemini and Venus in Leo. This is an aspect of creativity, and I describe it as ‘sweet words’. The magnetism and charm of Venus can help Mercury share, talk and connect.
These busy aspects from the Moon take place in a relatively short period of time, which may be a busy, fun or heartwarming period this weekend.
