Sun & South Node Aspects: Reviewing the Past & Charting Your Course

Sun & South Node Aspects: Reviewing the Past & Charting Your Course

The Sun makes its annual pass over the South Node, drawing your attention to the past.

The Sun aligns with one or another of the nodes every 6 months and these meetings mark the middle or peak of the eclipse seasons. Eclipses that occur with the Sun near the Nodes are extra intense.

The Sun/South Node link is about reviewing what’s old.

This time is your once a year ‘stop and look back’ period. Six months from now, when the Sun aligns with the North Node, the energy is about pushing forward.

Memory, Peace, De-Clutter
The South Node holds memory, the past and is about letting go. As we approach the end of week solar eclipse, you have a unique opportunity to make peace with your past. It’s also a lovely week for one of my favourite things – a good de-clutter.

The South Node is a drain point, and is a decreasing influence. This is often interpreted as negative or bad, but that’s a bit simplistic. Rather, think of this as a chance to review, reorganise and release. It’s unlikely you need all the things you think you do.

The Sun/South Node energy may provide the very permission you’ve been seeking to say no, step back or let go.

Life is full of cycles, some of which are about accumulating and success, and others which are about release, clearing out and moving on. The Sun/South Node inspires you to clear the slate for what lies ahead.

What are you ready to release?
