Scorpion Respiration: How Do They Breathe?

Scorpios, as arachnids, breathe through spiracles. These are small, external openings on the abdomen that lead to a network of internal respiratory tubes called tracheae. Oxygen diffuses into the tracheae through the spiracles, and then moves through the tubes to reach the body tissues.
