I’m just about finished the 2015 stars for the WellBeing Astrology Guide, and have noticed a couple of signs that are turbo charged next year.
Jupiter spends the first half of 2015 in Leo, moving into Virgo on August 11, 2015.
In June + July 2015, Venus is also in Leo (as part of her 2015 retrograde cycle), emphasising the sign of Leo, and the house this corresponds to in your chart.
From late September to early November, Mars will join Jupiter in Virgo, emphasising the sign of Virgo, and the house this corresponds to in your chart.
Jupiter is one of two planets (along with Saturn) whose sign changes provide a guide to the astrology of the year ahead. As Jupiter is enhanced by Venus (in Leo) and Mars (in Virgo) different parts of your chart – and thus your life – come into focus. Jupiter is the largest planet (physically, by size) and so where Jupiter goes your attention, energy and resources normally follow.
If you are a Leo or Virgo, note the respective months (mentioned above) when your sign has this double up planetary energy. Generally this can indicate busy-ness, progress or possibilities.
If you know your chart, note the houses (areas of life) that are ruled by Leo and Virgo. These will be two of your hot topics or key life themes in 2015.
Here’s an example:
I’ve used the 8.05am chart for Hilary Clinton. (I know there are two different options for her, but this is the one I’m going with for now.) The chart has also been created using Whole Sign houses for simplicity.
In Hilary’s chart you can see Leo on the top, or 10th House. Virgo rules the next house around, the 11th House. If you’re new to charts, use the numbers on the inside wheel as a guide.
In June + July, when Venus and Jupiter will be in Leo, both will be energising her 10th House – career, fame, reputation etc.
By late September, Jupiter will be in Virgo, her 11th House, and will be joined by Mars. These two combine in Virgo until mid November, when Mars leaves Virgo. 11th House is groups, collective things, social themes as well as a little to do with luck.
We might expect more activity – like opportunity, progress or possibilities – around these topics at those times.
So something big (remember Jupiter is super sized, so this is usually the biggest kind of big thing) re career, public profile or professional success in June/July, and a focus on working with groups (or teams) or being involved in larger collective initiatives through October/early November.
This is very simple astro forecasting, a technique known as transits, but it can help point you in the right direction!
How will these cycles trigger your chart in 2015?
