Saturn Myths Debunked: Separating Fact from Fiction

As many of you know, I’m putting the finishing touches on my next eBook, Saturn in Sagittarius. It will be released for pre-sale next week, but until then, let’s dispel the Top Ten Saturn Myths.

1. Saturn brings you back to basics. In fact, Saturn is about facing reality. This is actually a good thing and helps you understand a realistic time-frame to make a dream or goal happen.

2. Saturn is annoyingly slow. OK, Saturn has a thorough quality that helps you do things in the right order, and not skip any steps. But annoying? Hmmm. Try this instead: Slow down and enjoy life’s processes, one step at a time.

3. Saturn is difficult. This one is a bit of a fib. Saturn, like all the planets, is here to help. Saturn helps by reminding you of what needs to be done. Don’t cut corners and instead build or create things with the intention that they last. Aim to leave things better than you found them.

4. Saturn is boring. Saturn may not be exciting, but he will help you get the foundations of your life in order. This might involve getting more organised with family, finances or long term professional goals. A schedule is your secret to success.

5. Saturn can feel heavy. But the gift of this is that you have the power to lighten your load. Simply say no. Say no to that extra obligation or helping out one more person who asks for more than you have to give. Say no to others and in turn say yes to yourself. You’ll instantly feel lighter.

6. Saturn is tediously practical. How can this be a bad thing? Dreams are fantastic, but to manifest them we must ground our dreams in the real world. Use the practical side of Saturn to come up with a plan to make your dreams come true. Think long term rather than short term. Your efforts today are a gift to your future self.

7. Saturn ties us down. Not so much. Saturn is actually about re-defining responsibility, based on your current situation. If you have tasks in your schedule that are no longer relevant to your age or stage of life, hand them over to someone else. Responsibilities are best shared so this can help you delegate or outsource where possible.

8. Saturn brings limits. More like: Saturn helps us to understand our limits. And limits equal safety, security and focus. No, you probably can’t do everything and certainly not all at once. But, you can do your top 1 or 2 goals well. Support success by limiting how many things you do. Think quality over quantity.

9. Saturn creates fear. Not true. Often we’re afraid of what we don’t know, or we’re afraid of not having security in the present or in the future. Saturn doesn’t cause this, Saturn highlights this. Take action to neutralise your fears. Saturn also make us look at life really realistically and that in turn can get rid of our fears. Because fear is usually about the unknown.

10. Saturn causes pain. Absolutely false! Life sometimes brings difficulties, true. Saturn however helps you manage a tough time with grace and poise. With Saturn on side you’ll emerge from any challenge with a better foundation and more resources for the future.

So what does this all mean for you and your sign as Saturn gets ready to move into Sagittarius? If you can’t wait for the eBook and want to know all about Saturn in your chart, book a chart consult.
