I’m currently reading ‘Better than Before’ the latest book by Gretchen Rubin (author of ‘The Happiness Project’).
I’m loving it – as I did her previous two books on happiness. I could have sworn she is a Sagittarius, but a quick google search for her bio info turned up nadda, so either I saw it on a web page that has been changed or I made that part up.
If Gretchen is a Sagittarius, writing about happiness would seem to be a celestial match made in heaven!
What I’m enjoying about the most recent book is that it provides a window into how and why we form habits, plus tips on how to do so in the best ways for each of us as individuals.
I find this to be a timely read, as I’m in the midst of a series of Neptune transits, under which so many of many previous habits seem to be drifting away.
At least, they hold less appeal than they used too. (If we’ve crossed paths lately, and you’ve asked how I am, you’ve probably heard me try to explain by saying ‘Neptune is all up in my business!!’)
Later this year Saturn will begin to transit my chart, adding a practical or grounded quality that secretly I am much looking forward too. (I hope I didn’t just jinx myself there!) At that time I will no doubt need to get real about a few cornerstone habits I have let slide of late.
This got me thinking about transits and how different people prefer different transits.
Even though I am a Pisc
es, I usually find Neptune transits tricky, but I have made some great progress in life under Saturn transits. (I do have a strong natal Saturn aspect to both my Sun and Moon and thus Saturn transits do feel comfortable.)
It’s often under big transits that our habits and hobbies change, sometimes temporarily, sometimes permanently but hopefully always for the better!
