Communication planet Mercury is about to end his current retrograde. I’ve really noticed this energy in a few personal experiences today, so I thought I’d share in case you can relate!
Remember, Mercury is about messages and so most of my experiences are about appointments and paperwork, but these could equally be about contracts, travel arrangements or any other schedule-y or organisational type thing.
– First thing this morning I called to make an appointment at the beautician, for midweek. About 2 hours later the same receptionist called me back to confirm and double check the date and time, as she was having computer problems and wanted to make sure there’d been no error in the booking.
– Then, I pre-emptively sent off an invoice for an event I was involved in last week. About six hours later I got an email thanking me for the event, and asking for my invoice, which I then re-sent. (Granted, this was me jumping the gun!)
– I had to send off another invoice for a recent promo offer. I knew the numbers weren’t final but I was keen to submit before end of month so I emailed it off. About 3 hours later the final numbers came through, I tweaked the invoice and resubmitted it. (Jumping the gun again!)
Just in those three Monday morning/end of month admin-y tasks whatever I did had to be redone or revisited.
Personally, I rather like Mercury Rx, because I have a secret obsession with doing it right and thus prefer to tweak if this means things are double checked or as current as possible. (Can anyone say ‘Saturn in Virgo’/OCD?!)
Extra effort yes but this usually leads to a slightly more organised, streamlined flow.
And, it should be noted these redos are not dramatic or major. I always say Mercury retrograde isn’t terminal, but can be a bit time consuming.
