Chatting to my youngest brother today, we discussed many things. But a thread ran through our conversation, this feeling (he has a Scorpio Moon so we were all about feelings) that many people we chat to seem to be in the middle of a massive undertaking of some kind or another.
AstroBarry made a comment a few weeks back that’s stuck in my mind. It was something about how the point of all this retrograde energy may be to actually help us make changes, the scale of which may mean extra time is needed to get things re-organised.
It made me think of trying to turn the Titanic.
So. Massive undertakings. Trying to turn the tide. And then, in an MP3 earlier this week, I described the energy of April as a lot like a young child emptying out the pots and pans drawer to make ‘music’.It’s loud, demanding, insistent, distracting. I mean what else symbolises the Uranus/Pluto square fired up by Mars and expanded by Jupiter? Pop April 20 – 23 in your diary for that one.
If the task you’re involved in feels Herculean, like you are literally trying to eat an elephant, the best way to go about this is – apparently – one bite at a time.
Which brings us back to classic advice, applied to real life.
Everything worth having takes time to set up. Things that come along quickly can leave just as fast. Growth happens one step at a time, and it’s important not to get ahead of yourself.
Perhaps this will help you stay focussed as you continue to attempt to scale whatever personal Everest lies before you.
