Am sechsten Tag beschloss ich, Wache zu halten, und zu meinem Erstaunen konnte ich sehen, wie eine Krähe herunterkam und mein Getränk verschüttete. Es war wundervoll. Dann hockte sich die Krähe einfach auf den Sitz und sah mich durch das Glas meines Wintergartens an. Die Krähe konnte meinen Orangensaft eigentlich nicht trinken. Ich dachte mir, dass er durstig war, also holte ich eine kleine Schüssel und füllte sie mit Wasser.
Tatsächlich kam die Krähe am nächsten Tag wieder. Er sah die Schüssel mit Wasser und trank nach Herzenslust aus dem Behälter. Es war wundervoll. Dann saß er ungefähr fünf Minuten lang direkt neben mir, bevor er davonflog. Dies hält bis heute an. Ich habe einen Freund in dieser Krähe gefunden!
Was mich erstaunt, ist die Kommunikation, die ich mit dieser Krähe habe. Wenn ich nicht da bin, lasse ich ihm das Wasser und sehe, wie er es benutzt.
