Virgo Moon & Voltaire: Embracing 'Good Enough' in Astrological Readings

Virgo Moon & Voltaire: Embracing Good Enough in Astrological Readings“Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.” Voltaire

I have been carrying this quote around in my wallet for weeks now. I spotted it while reading something somewhere (I can never remember!). But when I read it, I thought ‘This is Virgo!’

Especially for Virgo Moons, but really any planet or angle in Virgo could probably embrace this idea.

In session with Virgo heavy clients I often encourage the idea of ‘near enough is good enough’ or that to many people 80% is considered a win.

However to strong Virgo types, who often aim for 110%, a mere 80% can seem like failure. I try to put this in perspective.

So, under this Virgo Moon, I invite you to embrace Voltaire and “Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.”

Really often what’s good enough is just that, good enough. Good enough helps keep you moving, and if good enough helps you show up, then you’re on your way to success right there.

Not that I am saying we should let standards slip, not at all, but that if you find yourself obsessing over minute details it may be ok to say ‘Good enough!’ and keep moving.

Your thoughts – do you get a bit perfectionist at times? Do you relate to obsessing over little things?
