Venus in Taurus March 2020: Love, Wealth & Creativity

Venus in Taurus

Your planet Venus enters your star sign Taurus on the 5th where it remains throughout March. This is a lovely placing for Venus, the planet of love & money, art & beauty in the star sign of sensuality, comfort and indulgence.

Put all this together and you too may be seeking more beauty in your life. Take walks in nature, visit an art gallery or discover your inner artist. Slow down the pace of life with Venus in Taurus and get involved in hands-on activities whether you’re a gardener, a cook, a builder, a sculptor, a craftsperson.

This month’s Full Moon takes place in Virgo on the 9th, the sign ruling crafts. One day earlier, Venus sits next to Uranus in Taurus, a symbol of surprise and sudden moves. Ultimately, your star sign needs financial and emotional security. Yet, this is a new wave with Uranus, the planet of change, bringing a sense of disorder to your life or a new wave.

Step out of your comfort zone during the Full Moon weekend and do something different, exciting and uplifting.

Earth Sign Energy

There are a predominance of planets in earth signs – Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn – right now, so this is your time. You’re in your element. Action planet Mars is in Capricorn until the 30th ruling travel and study in your horoscope, adventure and the bigger picture.

This is where you find Jupiter too, the planet of expansion and good fortune. You may be considering a move abroad or want to study or learn at a university or school. Mars is strongly aspected on the 20th when it’s conjunct Jupiter and on the 23rd when there’s a Mars/Pluto conjunction, also in Capricorn.

This whole combination feels extreme. It can give you extra power and determination to move your life in a new direction. Or, you could find yourself under pressure if you’re studying or involved in a research project. You may find your beliefs are challenged or your religion. Or, you end up in a competitive situation and need to be resilient to keep moving forwards and win your place or pass your exam.

A lot depends how much you’re ready to embrace what’s new, how much you want to leave the past behind and focus on your future, your next steps. At the end of the month, Venus in Taurus teams up with Jupiter and Pluto on the 28th and 29th.

This is when you’re back in flow and you can push things through easier. Mars often indicates a battle, that you have a fight on your hands. Choose your timing wisely if you’re keen to broaden your horizons.

Remember too that Venus is your planet and Mars is your partner planet. If you’re in a relationship or married, you need to work together as a team. Find the time to consider next steps for both of you and how you can bring more adventure into your lives, at the same time as feeling emotionally and financially secure.

High Flyer

Certainly, this is a month when you’re wise to aim high and look at what next and there are a couple of reasons for this. Firstly, communication planet, Mercury, retreats back into Aquarius on the 4th, your career and vocation sector. You may be revisiting a job or project that you started in January. Or perhaps, you’re reviewing your current situation or reconnecting with old contacts.

Mercury turns direct on the 10th, a significant turning point. As this takes place in Aquarius, it’s about your career and vocation, your status and reputation. You may hear the news you’ve been waiting for or finally get the go-ahead with a new role or job.

Ideally, use this turning point to explore your options and follow things up if people have gone quiet on you. Mercury’s change of direction is ideal for second chances. This could help you sort out a technological issue as Aquarius rules all things modern, including technology.

Saturn enters Aquarius

There’s another reason why you’re wise to think about your future path. This is because Saturn, the planet representing structure and authority, responsibility and discipline, enters Aquarius on the 22nd where it remains until July 1st. Later this year, on December 17th, Saturn returns to Aquarius where it stays for the subsequent two years.

This is a major shift in astrology as it takes Saturn 30 years to circuit the zodiac. If you’re old enough, think back to what happened last time around when Saturn was in your career and vocation sector. Also, notice what opportunities arise this month.

Are you ready to step into a new role or position? Alternatively, are you thinking of retiring or your current job or role is coming to an end? Both are possible as Saturn represents authority and commitment, also endings.

Plus, on the 30th, action planet Mars joins Saturn in Aquarius and they combine forces on the 31st. This is a strong force and you need to consider whether you’re the one upping your game.

Or, whether you’d be wise to back down or change tack if you’re up against a formidable boss or authority figure. A good question this month is to ask yourself where it would be most meaningful and worthwhile to channel your time and energy.

The Equinox

The other key planetary shift this month is the Sun’s move into Aries, the first sign of the zodiac on the 20th. This is the day of the Equinox and perfect for making a fresh start. The New Moon on the 24th continues this theme.

Aries is the sign behind yours in the zodiac, so this is about inner work and retreat, not only forward-moving action and motion. Perhaps, you need to factor in relaxation if life suddenly becomes busy. Or, strengthen your inner self to handle any big changes that come your way. Certainly, it’s a good month to develop your inner grit and determination.

The Sun’s move into Aries is a sign to take good care of yourself and to be there for other people, especially those in need. This is likely to be one of the most important months of the year for you as you consider where you’re heading and why.
