Energy planet Mars has dived into Pisces, leading the charge for what will be a plethora of planets lighting up this intuitive sign in the coming weeks.
Mars has triplicity rulership over all the water signs, and is rather comfortable there. This idea often confuses students, for when one considers Mars’ hot, dry nature and the cold, wet qualities of water things do seem to be incompatible. And perhaps when considering a health horary or election, they are.
However, from another perspective, Mars represents passion and the water element our desire nature. In this way, Mars and the water signs seem symbiotic.
In 2013, Mars is in Pisces between February 3 – March 12. This period asks that you let your intuition guide your actions, and always act from the heart.
Passion and energy for creative and spiritual pursuits grows, as Mars in Pisces provides an inspired take on the concept of ‘right action’. Compassionate gestures and charitable efforts are also encouraged.
Mars in Pisces is connected to Jupiter, the traditional ruling planet of Pisces. Jupiter is currently in Gemini, adding a need for variety, but a caution against scattering one’s efforts. Focus is key with Mars under such a mutable influence.
An adaptable attitude towards plans and projects may help you explore interesting side tracks that may initially create delays, but could provide extra breadth to your work.

– Mars/Pluto, February 14 – 17. This combination creates intense drive, focus and determination. Your efforts can move mountains now, especially if you are acting from the heart. Control and power are themes, which can be very sexy and seductive. Boldly go after something you deeply desire.
– Mars/Saturn, February 16 – 18. Saturn helps focus Mars’ efforts onto long term projects. Mars/Saturn is about reality checking plans, as well as about current efforts supporting future success. Be clear about time, boundaries and responsibilities. What you do, say or commit to now has long term consequences. Take your time to ensure you’re still working towards something meaningful.
