Pisces Constellation: History & Ancient Origins

The constellation Pisces, the Fish, is one of the oldest known constellations. It's included in the Babylonian star catalogs dating back to the 7th century BC and was also recognized by the ancient Greeks and Romans.

So, while we can't pinpoint an exact discovery date, we know Pisces was recognized and named at least as far back as the 7th century BC.
