There isn't a particular astronomer who created the zodiac. The origins of the zodiac date back to ancient civilizations and were developed by various cultures over many centuries. The earliest evidence of zodiac-like systems can be traced back to ancient Babylonians and their observations of the night sky. They divided the sky into 12 equal sections, each associated with a constellation. This division formed the basis of what is known as the zodiac. Later on, the Greeks adopted and refined the Babylonian zodiac, assigning them names and mythological associations that remain largely unchanged today.
