Mercury has ended his retrograde, and the next few weeks (most of March!) are about catching up.
In addition, Mercury is now involved in an extended square alignment with Saturn. Due to Mercury’s slower than usual speed (it takes Mercury a little while to return to a faster pace), this square to Saturn is in play until Tuesday March 11.
So, what does it all mean?
As you go about the usual post Mercury Rx catching up, you’ll have to do so with greater diligence. More thoughtfulness about choice and commitment will be required.
You may need extra time to finalise your ideas, or create a structure/schedule for the future.
Carefully consider what message you’d like to send, and the best way to deliver it. The energy of the square indicates adjustments may be necessary.
Slow and steady definitely wins this race!
With Saturn involved, it’ll be important to keep an eye on long term consequences. If you do X now, what will that mean for next month, or later this year? If you don’t do X now, how will that influence the next few months?
A cautious attitude will help, so if in doubt, scale down rather than up.
It’s a bit simplistic, but this basic concept may help:
* Saturn = No
* Jupiter = Yes
As I said, it is simplistic, but the essence can guide you. When I get a bit scatty, this basic mantra can lead me to clarity. If Saturn’s involved, less is better than more. Limit your options. Under promise, so you can then over deliver. Be conservative in your estimates.
The flip side applies when Jupiter is involved. In that case, you can dream, think and do big. Take on the challenge, or say yes to a new opportunity.
Since Mercury is currently in Aquarius, a sign traditionally ruled by Saturn, and moving to directly aspect Saturn, it’s the thoughtful, deliberate and measured side of Mercury that’s called forward.
Aquarius is a cool, detached and clear thinking sign. You may be more rational or logical than you have been in the past. Black and white facts can be hard to ignore – and may help make your decision making process easier.
Topics that are likely to arise include forward planning, like work or travel schedules/itineraries. The balance between expectation and responsibility, at work or at home. And the need to finalise or formalise contracts, documents and agreements – about almost anything.
Over to you. Is there anything you could say no to, that might free up time (Saturn) or mental space (Mercury)?
