The Moon has entered Capricorn for her monthly 48 hour visit to this practical and responsible sign.
We are in the lead up to the Aquarius Full Moon, which will peak over the weekend. Thus, the Moon is particularly big and bright, and offers extra insight or awareness. In Capricorn, this insight can be about long term goals, where or how you might need to be realistic rather than idealistic, or have to do with increased awareness around how to best use your time.
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, and so to is the Moon while she is in Capricorn. This then is one of the Moon’s least clingy or fussy placements. Here, it’s time to focus on what needs to be done and when, and on creating a manageable plan to achieve. It may be possible to set hyper sensitivity to the side and simply take care of business.
Capricorn can also symbolise things are are old, antique or represent the wisdom of time.
I thought it funny that just as the Moon entered Capricorn here we went to visit my mother-in-law, who coincidentally has a bad back today! And older woman + back issues are both symbols associated with Saturn.
Not that I am suggesting you have to deal only with older people, or will suffer back pain – not at all! But, it may be a lovely time to do something good for your back, spine or bones or to revisit traditional, ancient or pagan (earth based) wisdom for those gems that truly do stand the test of time.
