We are in the mid point period between the two eclipses. The Aries lunar eclipse is in the rear-view mirror, while ahead (mid next week) is the Scorpio solar eclipse.
Currently the Moon is in Cancer, a sign in which comfort is valued. Spend time with people and in places that nourish you now. The familiar rather than what’s new may appeal.
The Moon will tango into the Uranus/Pluto square creating a few unexpected or intense moments. Allow these to be revelatory and embrace the truths they reveal. If there is a mini – or a major – crisis that emerges, you might like to keep in mind that the origins of the word crisis are to do with sifting or sorting, with the need to decide.
Origin of crisis
Classical Latin ; from Classical Greek krisis ; from krinein, to separate, discern ; from Indo-European an unverified form (s)krei-, to sift, separate ; Classical Latin cernere, to separate.
As the Moon moves through the later part of Cancer it will form the third quarter phase with the Sun, in the later part of Libra. The third quarter phase is about reorientation. It’s a phase of change and transition, with a view to authenticity, as well as closure and completion.
Between triggers to Uranus and Pluto, plus the third quarter Moon, you may be in a position in which you need to decide, to sift through priorities and sort out what you really want. If that’s the meaning of crisis, to bring you into a more authentic or honest place, then any little bump that emerges in the next few days may be a blessing in disguise.
Ask yourself if your current choices or path are as authentic as they could be. If not, you have the power – and the cosmic support – to make a few meaningful tweaks or a course adjustment.
