It’s Moon-day and the Moon is dynamic Aries. Time to get going!
Two factors add extra fire to the current cosmic theme of action.
1) The Moon is in the active first quarter phase, a time in the month to take action, be bold, push ahead.
2) The Moon is conjunct Uranus, a planet all about freedom, independence and doing things differently*.
Every month the Moon in Aries combines with Uranus, at least for the next few years (Uranus is in Aries 2010 – 2019).
Some months this pairing happens when the Moon is waxing, and focussed on growth. Other months it happens when the Moon is waning and all about release. Either way it creates a 24 hour window when life seems a bit topsy turvy, as if normal rules, or routines, temporarily don’t apply.
Late in December, as the New Year beckons, it’s as if the Moon has got a head start on 2015. Your desire for a different future may help you do something about a dream for change.
While the lure of rest may seem appropriate, it is after all the week between Christmas and New Year’s, when so much of the normal whirl seems to still, the astro energy is all about doing things differently. This urge may be satisfied by the simple release from your normal routines. But for some, this month’s Moon/Uranus pairing may bring a deeper call to shift focus as you contemplate the year ahead.
