Last week, in the wee hours of Friday morning, Reese Witherspoon was arrested, along with her husband.
I was rather surprised by this, as Reese has a carefully managed image and this situation was certainly out of character for someone who’s usually portrayed as well put together and professional. (With no birth time, her Moon could be Sag or Cap, but my vote is for Cap due to the normally tightly controlled image!)
Reese is an Aries, though a quick web search didn’t reveal a birth time for her. Nonetheless, as I’ve written about here, there was a rather dramatic Sun/Mars conjunction last week.
I wondered whether it activated anything in Reese’s chart. By Thursday night/Friday morning, the Sun/Mars pairing had moved to the last degree of Aries, and voila, already feisty Reese has larger-than-life Jupiter there, at 29 Aries. Fireworks indeed!

“Reese stated that she was a ‘U.S. Citizen’ and that she was allowed to ‘stand on American ground,”
A classic statement from someone who has Mars and Saturn in Cancer (remember, the US is a Cancer country ‘Born on the 4th of July’). Your country doesn’t have to be a Cancer one, but the sign of Cancer is protective of not just family, but home turf too.
While without a birth time it’s hard to be precise, Reese is probably in the progressed Balsamic Moon Phase, a time in life where energy is low and motivation ebbs. This phase has a distinct hermit like quality and stepping back into a less visible role is ideal. Your spirit is tired in this cycle and literally needs to lay low.
All things said and done, to her credit, and in true Aries style, Reese has been quick to apologise.
