New Moon 29 degrees Aquarius
SYDNEY: February 19, 10.48am
LONDON: February 18, 11.48pm
NEW YORK: February 18, 6.48pm
The second Aquarius New Moon in a row may bring a second chance with a missed opportunity from late January.
This is also Chinese New Year 2015, when the Year of the Wood Sheep begins. A friend from Facebook told me ‘Having blooming flowers is lucky for the New Year’. She has stocked up on lots of red and pink flowers (for luck) and yellow for wealth. I plan to buy a bunch myself! And, the timeanddate.com website suggests bowls of tangerines or oranges too.
But back to the astro!
Mercury, also in Aquarius, forms a supportive sextile Saturn, highlighting the value of research, due diligence and keeping your promises. A cautious approach to decision making, scheduling or forward planning can ensure you leave enough time to handle your responsibilities well.
This is the third and final sextile between these two, which can indicate endings for a project first begun back in early January.
It’s a great energy for making commitments or finalising a contract, as the rational energy of Mercury in Aquarius can ensure you calmly address any concerns.
