Aquarius Constellation: Location, Visibility & Notable Objects

Aquarius, the Water-Bearer, is located in the southern sky. It is bordered by the constellations of Pegasus to the west, Pisces to the east, Cetus to the south, and Sculptor to the southwest. Aquarius is the tenth largest constellation in the sky, occupying an area of 980 square degrees. It is best seen from latitudes between +65° and -90°. The constellation contains several notable objects, including the stars Sadalsuud and Skat, the asterism the Water Jar, and the planetary nebula NGC 7293.
